Universal Studios Horror Nights – The Art of Scare (Part 2 of 5)
the night of Halloween is on the 31st of October.
All Hallows Eve is a festival celebrating the end of Summer and the beginning of Winter.
In Earlier days, bonfires were lit and animals passed around them to make certain of good stocks for the winter ahead.
All Hallows Eve is also the night when ghosts may be able to visit the living and pass on messages.
This is the origin of Halloween Festivities such as Torchlit processions .
Scary Masks were traditional and part of earlier riotous parties
Some countries carry on the Halloween traditions and these are usually great fun.
Theme Parks have opened specially for Halloween parties and these vary wildly in the frightening parties that they offer.
These vary from Disneys not-so-scary Ghost procession to Universals horrific offerings which offer the ability to be scared by all kinds of Vampires from films and the past.
We know what you are afraid of: Turn out the lights and go “behind the screams” of Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights. Explore each terrifying haunted maze and see how they were designed and constructed. And discover how the event creators play on your deepest, darkest fears to bring your worst nightmares to life. Its a never before seen look into one of the biggest and scariest annual Halloween events in teh world. This is part 2 of 5.
This is my walkthrough video of the Fortress Van Helsing attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood. It is basically a scare maze (similar to what you find at most theme parks during halloween) but its all year round. This was filmed just this summer. But I had quite the time walking through it, for I got lost, tripped down some stairs, tripped over and old lady struggling up stairs, you will hear my saying “Sorry!” alot in it. It was very dark (I used NightShot so you can see everything)!!!! Enjoy Fortress Van Helsing! Expect more videos from the Tram Tour to come soon.
Video Rating: 4 / 5

I remember the only time I went to Universal Studios…I was in 3rd grade. My brother and mom wanted to go through this, but I didn’t. I had no idea who Van Helsing was, anyway. I had to go through it, and I had nightmares for a few weeks about this and the Mummy ride. D:
Awesomest experience ever!!! and you know what!! i heared my moms and my dads voice!!!! AWESOME!!!!!
crazy screaming girls…..
I loved walking through this back in 2004 – it was pretty cool to walk through some of the sets used in the film – and yeah, the Werewolf at the end was pretty creepy
LOL I remember going through this in 2004. That spinning brick tunnel really screwed with my coordination. We all felt like we were gonna tip over. Our eyes told us we were spinning, but our inner ear said we were not! It was dark as hell too! Awesome walk through!
