Scared of Halloween ?
Don't Be unless you visit Knotts Berry Farm .
Then be afraid - VERY Afraid. All of thes have incredibly scary Halloween themes with everything from skeletons to animated zombies.
the night of Halloween is on the 31st of October. All Hallows Eve is a festival celebrating the end of Summer and the beginning of Winter.
All Hallows Eve is also the night when the spirits of ancestors may be able to contact the living and pass on messages.
wierd Masks were traditional and part of earlier riotous parties
Some countries carry on the Halloween traditions and these are usually great fun.
Theme Parks have opened specially for Halloween parties and these vary wildly in the scary parties that they offer.
These vary from Disneys not-so-scary Ghost procession to Universals horrific offerings which offer the ability to be scared by all kinds of Vampires from movies and the past.
Halloween themes are traditonal at Halloween – and fairly easy now to set up either on your computer or in your Home.
Computer Halloween themes are really easy to find (just google them) and there are hundreds of halloween themes for wordpress alone so you can set up a Halloween website very easily and include all those photos you will take this year to show your friend (or even your fiends !)
Halloween parties are hugely popular and its easy to find Hallowen Decorations to make the atmosphere a little creepy.(Start your search on this site ! The search box is at the bottom of this page)
Here are some suggestions for your house and garden.

A large Pumpkin hollowed out for a candle makes a Halloweeny welcome for guests (better still have two on either side of your doorway or drive).
Spray on cobwebs are a nice touch and You can get lovely halloween themed window stickers too.
Inside have a Halloween welcome with a figurine (see our welcome pages) and a halloween poster will complete the feeling.
If you want to really splash out, a tombstone in the garden with a pile of plastic bones should be realistic (don’t worry – the tombstones mare usually plastic, resin or styrofoam so they are easy to move around to the right place- don’t use real bones – they start to smell very quickly and the police start to getvery interested in you !)
Animated figurines are always popular with guests (my favourite is the animated Grannie in a rocking chair who sits there rocking and muttering to herself ) You could always buy her a fake shotgun to hold on her lap..
Lots of people like ground breakers that look like they have just dug their way out of a grave and they are made of styrofoam too (remember to peg them down with twigs or they could go wandering around the neighbouhood)
A fog machine gives the eerie atmosphere of a spooky graveyard and you can pick one up quite cheaply nowadays.
Like most of the Hallowen decorations you can either swap with neighbours or box them up to use again next year.
Finish off your decorations with a giant spider sitting on its web for a really spooky feeling.
I am sure you will have lots more ideas for your own halloween theme and you will find free Halloween recipes and suggestions on posts throughout this website.
